Choosing how to hire

SuperHired vs hiring an in-house recruiter

One permanent hire, or a few, is a different problem from year-round recruiting capacity. Here's how the options compare, including the ones where we're not the answer.

When a flat-fee search is the right call

One critical permanent hire. You want to keep every approval, you want to see candidates do the work before an offer, and you don't want to run the search yourself.

You approve the role, pay, shortlist, and offer. We handle the work between.

When in-house or fractional is the right call

You hire every month and need always-on capacity more than a one-off search. At that volume, someone inside the business who knows every team will serve you better than we can.

Questions

What about a contingency recruiter?

Contingency firms charge a percentage of the first-year salary and are paid only on a hire. A flat fee removes the incentive to increase the salary for a larger fee. 30% is due to begin discovery and the remaining 70% on an accepted offer. You approve the role, pay, shortlist, and offer, keeping the decision in your hands.

Does SuperHired do ongoing recruiting?

Our public offer is one flat fee per search. If you have several permanent hires planned, tell us and we'll talk through how the searches can stack.

What happens if the hire doesn't work out?

A 120-day replacement-search guarantee is included, subject to the conditions in your service agreement. We'll explain those conditions before you commit.
